Percy Harris Martin Sr., 93, passed away Saturday, Feb 4, 2012, at River Region Hospice in River Ridge. He was a graduate of Lutcher High School, a Catholic, a native of Grand Point and a farmer all of his life, mainly of sugarcane and perique tobacco.
Rosemary Verret Millet, 81, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at 4:29 p.m.

On Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, Norvin Joseph Rose answered God’s call to follow him to his new heavenly home. He passed peacefully at 1:45 a.m. at River Parishes Hospital in LaPlace.

Wilfred Francis "Dago" Tregre Jr. passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the age of 79. He was born Oct. 23, 1932, in St. James and was a resident of Reserve for all of his adult life.

Turner Joseph "Tony" Scallon passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at the age of 71. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, and lived in LaPlace for the past 40 years.
Alma Chiasson Dasch, 92, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at St. James Hospital in Lutcher. A native of Lafourche Crossing, she lived in Norco for the past 70 years. She was a practical nurse for Dr. Bill Landry for many years.
